Create Manual Orders in Redshop

Creating manual orders is crucial for improving customer retention and offering seamless service to customers who place orders offline or need an order corrected.

Steps: Creating a Manual Order

  1. In the Redshop dashboard, go to Orders.

  2. Click the Make An Order button.


Step A: Select Product

  1. Click Add Product.

  2. Select the desired product (including any necessary variants).

  3. Click Add Product to confirm the selection.


Step B: Select Customer

  1. Click Select Customer.

  2. For Existing Customers: Search by name or phone number and select the customer.

  3. For New Customers: Click Add New Customer and fill in the following details:

    • Customer Name

    • Customer Address

    • Customer Number

    • Select District

  4. Click Add Customer to save and select the new customer.


Step C: Finalize Order Details

  1. Review the Payment Details (including order total).

  2. Edit Delivery Charge (Optional): Click on the delivery charge field to adjust the amount if needed (e.g., changing from 70 to 120 BDT).

  3. Select the payment method (e.g., cash on delivery, online payment).

  4. Click Create Order.


Order Completion

  • The new manual order will appear in your main Order List with a new Order ID, just like a standard website order.


Tips

  • Re-use Data: Once a customer is added via manual order, their information is stored, making it faster to process future manual orders for them using the search function.

  • Service: Use this feature to place orders for customers who face technical difficulties or simply order through messaging apps.
