Follow these steps to manage the checkout page settings and add a new custom input box within the Redshop platform.

Step 1: Navigate to Checkout Settings

↓ From your Redshop Home Page, click on the Settings option.

↓ Within the Settings menu, click on the Checkout option to enter the checkout configuration page.

Step 2: Configure Single Page Checkout (Optional)

↓ On the Checkout settings page, you will see the Single Page Checkout option.

Enable the switch if you want customers to complete the entire checkout process on a single page.

Disable the switch if you prefer a multi-step or lengthier verification process.

Step 3: Add a Custom Input Box

↓ Scroll down to the Checkout Form section, where the default input fields are displayed.

↓ To create a new custom field, click the Add Input Box button.

Step 4: Define the Custom Field Details

Fill in the following fields for your new input box:

Input Box Name: Enter a descriptive label for the information you are collecting (e.g., 'Baby Age').

Input Box Type: Select the type of input required (e.g., choose Text for general information).

Input Placeholder Text: Enter the guiding text that will appear inside the box (e.g., 'Enter your baby age').

Step 5: Set Requirement Status

↓ Find the option labeled Is this input box required.

Enable the switch to make filling out this information mandatory for the customer.

Disable the switch to keep the information optional.

Step 6: Finalize and Save

↓ Once all details are configured, click the Add Input Box button again to save the new field.

↓ The custom input field is now added to your checkout form.
